Conwy Nub News will be regularly profiling our event of the week.

In our What’s On section, you can read all about the events going on in Conwy.

This could be a quiz night at the local pub, a model aircraft exhibition or a curry night at a local restaurant. It could be literally anything, even an event streamed on the internet.

So if you’ve got an event, visit our What's On section, click the black Nub It button and enter the details, and we’ll promote it for you!

This week’s event of the week is Theatr Colwyn's screening of NOMADLAND, which is available for booking now (showing 7.30 pm on Thurs 17 June, Fri 18 June and Sat 19 June).

Oscar winning - Best Picture, Best Director for Chloé Zhao and Best Actress for Frances McDormand

Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (Frances McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. The third feature film from director Chloé Zhao, NOMADLAND features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.

To enable staff to keep audiences within their bubbles, and at a safe distance, tickets will only be available directly from the box office on 01492 872000 or in person at Porth Eirias. The in-person box office facility at Theatr Colwyn is currently still closed.
