Conwy’s Town Ditch Road will close for one day on Friday 26 February for roadworks.
The road veers right from Bangor Road after leaving the town through the arch, skirting the walls and leading to Castle Street.
This, presumably, means cars won’t be able to drive around the town – or have access to the High Street via Castle Street.
Conwy Nub News has contacted Conwy County Council for a comment.
The roadworks are the first in a series of planned works on the stretch with others planned on Castle Street.
Castle Street roadworks include: work outside the Civic Hall (old library) taking place between March 1 – 12. Work is also planned for one day on March 19 at the junction/corner between Castle Street and Rose Hill Street. More is planned near the same area again on March 31.
You can check the roadworks via Conwy’s online roadworks portal here
