Snow showers, turning widespread later. Windy, feeling cold throughout.


The wintry showers continue in the west and north of the country, turning widespread from midday, bringing snow showers to many across the country. Patchy cloud allows for some sunny spells, though still feeling bitterly cold in the wind. Maximum temperature 7 °C.


Wintry showers continue this evening, clearing into the night. Remaining largely dry, with the odd shower in the west, but cold throughout. Clear skies in the southeast, with widespread frosts. Minimum temperature -1 °C.


A cloudy start, and even foggy for some, before further wintry showers through the morning and afternoon. Driest in the east of the country. Largely dry overnight, remaining cold. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Largely dry Thursday, with winds strengthening, but feeling milder. Rain followed by widespread wintry outbreaks on Friday, with cold air returning. Feeling cold Saturday, with frequent wintry showers throughout.
