Cloudy throughout with intermittent rain.
Quite a cloudy day across the country, with intermittent outbreaks of light rain throughout. Southwestern areas will see the odd heavier downpour into the afternoon as rain becomes more showery. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Heavier rain becomes widespread across the southwest through the evening, then is likely to move north overnight with a few rumbles of thunder possible. Drier in the southwest by dawn. Minimum temperature 13 °C.
A wet day in the north and east, with widespread rain, heavy and possibly thundery in places. Becoming drier and brighter for all into the evening as rain clears. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Misty starts in places on Wednesday and Thursday, then becoming fine and largely dry with sunny spells, feeling warm in these. Wet and windy Friday morning, becoming drier later.
